The first part of this project will be a virtual trip between New York and Moscow.
The installation will consist of art works reflecting the New York and Moscow subway stations. The art works will be exhibited so that both sides extend from the center. In the middle of the installation there will be video projection with images and sounds of the New York and Moscow undergrounds which will gradually transform from one into another, as if one is traveling along a virtual subway line from New York to Moscow and back. It will be a connection between Time Square station and Revolutionary Square station.

An assumed length of the installation will be about 50 feet (15 meters)

The installation will be covered with a dark reflecting ceiling. The ceiling will protect the installation form the external lightening and create an atmosphere of the underground. Besides, it will create better conditions for viewing the video. The reflecting surface of the covering will increase the dimensions of the underground space and impressions created by the visual images. The lightening of the art works will be specific, directed only to the works of art in the installation.
